FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

Hallie Rose Design is a Brooklyn-based studio offering full-service residential interior design in New York City and nationwide. We work with clients on every aspect of their home, from initial concept through final installation. Space planning, material and finish selection, custom furniture sourcing, and every detail in between. We handle procurement, coordinate with trades, and oversee the project from start to finish so that what we design is what gets built.

The process is thorough, collaborative, and designed around how you actually live. We follow a six-phase process from initiation through project handover, so you always know where things stand.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The best place to start is with an in-home or virtual consultation. We’ll talk through the details of timeline, budget, and specific concerns. We use this information to craft a proposal unique to your project that details a plan for executing the design.

  • Good design takes time, and it is always worth the patience. The complete design process typically takes four to eight months. Full-scale renovations, depending on scope, can take a year or more. You will receive a realistic timeline upfront so there are no surprises.

  • Each project is tailored to you and your home. After our consultation, we prepare a proposal that includes an estimate of design fees based on the scope of work. We are committed to transparency, so you'll receive regular updates throughout the project and always know where things stand.

  • My background is in fashion. I spent over 15 years as a senior designer and creative director before moving into interiors, and that shapes everything about how I work. I think in terms of texture, scale, color, and storytelling the way a fashion designer does, and I bring that same precision to every room.

We want every home we design to feel calm, layered, and deeply personal, like it was gathered over time rather than decorated all at once. At the core of everything we do is creating spaces with soul. Our approach is always to design with intention, layering pieces that bring depth and texture into a home while honoring what's already there.

  • Absolutely! We have a distance design option for clients who don’t live where we’re based. Contact our team and we will craft a custom proposal for you.

  • We believe an interior designer is just as important to a project as an architect or builder. We think about how a space feels, how it flows, and how every piece works together to create one thoughtful, cohesive story throughout the home. We work closely with our clients to make sure the design, the proportions, and the furnishings all reflect the way your family actually lives. The best design is timeless. It should feel personal, warm, and deeply connected to your life for years to come.
