The Founder
Hallie Malitsky is a Boston-born, New York-based interior designer who brings over 15 years of creative leadership in fashion to her interiors work. Before founding Hallie Rose Design, she held Design Director roles at Lela Rose, Oscar de la Renta, and Brooks Brothers. That same instinct for proportion, palette, and storytelling now underpins every space she designs.
Her love of history and craftsmanship naturally evolved from sourcing vintage textiles and garments to curating a vintage shop and, ultimately, to designing full interiors. Layering antiques and vintage pieces is central to her philosophy, creating homes that feel storied, lived-in, and impossible to replicate.
As a mother of two young girls, Hallie brings a deeply practical lens to every project. She designs for how people actually live, with sophistication and real life held in equal measure.
